We have a winner!!
First, let me say that after I wrote the post,
I realized how many more things I failed to mention that I like about the rags.
Things like how well they work for spot-cleaning carpets,
the fact that you only use water~no chemical laden cleaners,
some of them are anti-bacterial,
you can get make-up removal clothes which I’d love to try, etc!
But I did give you the link to the website to learn more,
and many of you did exactly that.
I was also surprised how many of you had never heard of them!
Even in my own county!
{Sorry for the head-under-a-rock comment!
I guess it really IS a new product that many haven’t heard about yet,
and I just happened to be in the small pocket that had.
}
And now, ta-da!
The winner is . . .
“Laura”
{michalaura6@}
This was her comment:
laura says:
Never heard of/tried these but if they can make windows streak free, I would pay a hefty price!
Patio doors+2 1/2 yr old=constantly smudged/streaked windows.
Laura, may your patio doors be clean and happy henceforth!
Or at least you can be happy while cleaning them!
And the rest of you,
goodness!
Please treat yourself to a Norwex rag!
{Mother’s Day coming up??!}
You know, we do our cooking & cleaning job pretty much 24/7.
{at least we have to be on the ready 24/7}.
And like my SIL says, “Our men don’t skimp on the proper tools to do their jobs right,
so why should we??”
{Yup, that was Lil, for those of you who know her.
}
So that’s my little encouraging word to you for the day.
Thank you all for entering and leaving your fine comments.
You are a blast of fun on this little blog.

Did I say “come back in a day or two for a Norwex Rag Giveaway”?
A Thousand Pardons.
I should n.e.v.e.r. promise things these days.
Especially a post that had yet to be written!
I used to do that kind of thing.
Write & Blog spontaneously and often.
Now I write and blog.
But not as often, and certainly not, whenever I please.
My time is dictated by others people
and more pressing needs & desires!
But on to the fun stuff!
I don’t know about other parts of the country,
but in my part of the state, unless you’ve been living under a rock,
you have, no doubt, heard of a NORWEX rag.
The question is: Have you used one?
Do you know how awesome these rags are?
Would you like to own one of your own?
My SIL introduced me last fall.
After helping me wash several sets of windows at my house with her rags,
I was hooked and desperate for a set of my own!
I ordered the blue & purple {basic}set,
declaring them my ‘window rags’.
I’ve never liked washing windows,
therefore usually neglecting that job til I’ve run out of excuses . . .
the streaks, the piles of paper towels, or fuzzies if using a cloth.
Definitely NOT the proper tools for the job!
With these Norwex clothes, though, I find myself actually having fun cleaning windows!!
No spray required. Just one damp-with-water cloth. Another dry. A few wipes with each and . . .
Voila! Sparkly windows!
In fact, not long after receiving my own set,
and upon finishing washing my kitchen windows,
I just couldn’t stop wiping things.
I soon found myself travelling around to give all my cupboards a face-wipe,
And then the outside of the frig {I now use them INSIDE too},
and then the pantry door, and the chair rail, and the trim where little hands leave prints . . .
And the kitchen table and the toddler chair,
and~whattheworld~the floor too!!
{It’s the BEST rag I’ve EVER used on my prone-to-streaking laminate wood floor!}
These microfiber rags just L.I.F.T. the dirt right up!
{You really must try!!}
And in my experience, other microfiber rags I’ve tried from, say, Wal-Mart,
just don’t hold a candle to these little lovelies!!
Oh, and since my “window” rag has now wiped anything and everything else as well,
I {demoted?} it to the status of “floor rag”
and bought another one to be my window rag.
If you’d like to know how they work, read a little scientific info on them here.
So now, let me introduce you to Devona Mullet
an acquaintance of mine {friend of friends, really}
who sells the full line of Norwex products,
and who has graciously offered to give
one enviro cloth & one window cloth
to one randomly chosen winner here at my blog!
{Yup, that’s the set that I first fell in love with!}
To be entered to win this lovely little Norwex cloth set:
1. Leave a comment here to say whether or not you have used a Norwex product~and mention if you have a favorite!
2. Visit & LIKE Devona’s FB page and/or visit her website . . . and leave a comment saying you did.
3. Like or Share this post on FB and leave a comment saying you did.
All total, you can enter your name into this drawing 3 times.
{Did I make that clear?}
This giveaway will close on Monday, May 7, 2012 at midnight,
and as much as is within my power, I will try super hard to announce the winner the following day!
Happy Wednesday to ALL!

There sound awesome. I’ve never used one and only heard about them maybe two weeks ago… guess I’ve been under a rock!:) I think I’ll need to check them out though… with four small children I definitely do a LOT of wiping things down!:)
Ha ha, Rebekah! OK, so maybe I shouldn’t have implied that your head was under a rock . . . but you know what I mean. With 4 small children, you might need SEVERAL of these rags. I do with 3.
Was a true skeptic at the first party I went too but was instantly impressed! Had a party of my own a few weeks later. Mine get used hard and often so I would love a refresher!
Never heard of Norwex products. Sounds like something I’d love to try though. For the record, I DO like cleaning windows so these would just add to the fun
Liked Devona’s FB and checked out her website. The products look fantastic. I especially liked the Fruit and Veggie cloth!
never used a one of these rags…but have heard plenty enough to almost feel like i have!
would love to try one out!
Shared your blog post on FB!
I visited Devonna’s website…looks interesting! Especially liked all the kitchen essentials.
I have a set of the window rags and love them! I use them a lot! Its easy for Adam (my 4 yr old) to use them. Rather than him spraying way too much windex and then too many paper towels to get the window dry. *smile*
I *know*. I like the fact that we don’t have wild spraying going on around our place either.
With you mentioning that Adam uses these, I was reminded that Norwex sells a set of 3 “mini” enviro rags for travel. Wouldn’t it be super handy to have that set for the children? Probably much more their size! Hmmm . . . something to keep in mind!
Wow, these rags look amazing and I’m always into something that makes cleaning easier!
Visited Devonna’s website and facebook page!
Liked your post on facebook!
I believe i’ve heard of them, but never have used them. If it makes window cleaning more fun then i’m wanting one!!!
Visited her website….
Shared this on FB!!
As soon as I’ve gotten off my life-long cleaning binge you do this to me!
I’ve used cloths that look like this one but they were gifts too so I’m not sure if they were this brand. I’d love to try one out.
I think I entered 3 times ~ left a message here, liked on her fb page and left a comment, and liked your post and left a comment. Thanks for this info. I’m quite intrigued and curious!
Kathy, you’ve outdone yourself. You have gone over and above what I required. Here’s to hoping you win the rags!
And as for you giving up your spring cleaning . . . I’m so sorry to inspire you onward once more! Too bad each of your children didn’t have a Norwex rag back in “those” days. I’m sure you would have heard nary a grumble out of them for their excitement and enthusiasm for CLEEEEEAAAAAANING!! {Or maybe not. They aren’t THAT magical. But it would have been worth a try.}
Never used them, but my windows are currently needing a meeting with rags such as these.
Where’s my “like” button?? Your windows would love to meet Mr & Mrs. Rag Norwex!
Liked her facebook page.
I have used theserags and love them
I visited her Facebook page
I have never heard of these, but will surely check them out!!
Heard of them but never used them. I’m scared to go to a party for fear of being sucked in and spending $$ that I shouldn’t. So it would be WAAYYY better to win them
Ha ha! “Sucked in”. You’re so funny. But even if you don’t win, you’ve already been sucked into buying one by reading my rave reviews, right?
I’m not getting anything from Ony except the fun of having a giveaway . . . but maybe I should have signed a contract with her saying I get 10% of all sales that my post generates or something, right?
liked the post on FB
Liked Ony’s page. Had to think a little who DEVONA mullet was
I just know her as “Ony”
I love em!!
i have never used these rags but I’ve heard of them and would love to see if they’re all that they’re cracked up to be

Oh yes, the patio doors plus the 2 1/2 year old AND a 4 year old AND a 1 year old AND a dog. I know all about THAT dirty window.
You would love the rags!
Visited her website. =)
and for the third try I shared your post on fb – now I will sit back and wait to win
Shelly! These would be great to wipe out fridges!!!! =) I will be hunting these lovely things down if I am not to be the winner this time around. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, they ARE great for wiping out the fridge, Tracy.
I should have known you’d pick up on that thought!
You will definitely want to buy one just for that purpose! I also forgot to mention it in my post, but the enviro cloth does wonders with dirty spots on my carpets. I just discovered this a few weeks ago and am PLEASED with the results!
LOVE me my Norwex rag. I was totally skeptical about buying one cause i love the smell of cleaner. But i bought the basic set for windows and have been wiping everything else with them since. LOVE THEM!!
Liked Ony’s page.

I have liked her page from the start!! LOVE my Norwex rags!!!! AMAZING, AMAZING STUFF:)
I LOVE my Norwex cloths and could always use more! Like you, I use the basic sets most often and have them separated for kitchen use or bathroom use.
I shared on FB!
My SIL told me recently how much she adores these products so I’ve been wanting to try them. They really do sound amazing!
Love your blog by the way
I’m currently checkin out her website….

I had never heard of Norwex until the other day when a friend on FB mentioned they were having a party. I would like to try them to see if they are as great as the reviews.
Highly recommended by my Daughter-in-law but I haven’t tried any of the products yet. Would love to see what they do!
Have not used any NORWEX products to date, but am anxious to receive and use the items I ordered at Tilda’s party.
Visited Devona’s website and “liked” this post of FB!
I live under a rock, too, because I had never heard of these before. But they look cool!
I also checked out Devona’s web site! Neat!
I’ve never tried any norwex products at all ….. but anything that could make cleaning windows less miserable would find a lot of favor at my house.
My mom gave me a Norwex rag for cleaning windows….I use it all the time and love it!! I don’t even use a different rag to “dry” the windows after…but it probably would make them even more “sparkling” if I would.
I checked out Devona’s website and left a comment. I don’t have an account on fb.
i have never heard of them but would love to give them a try. anything that makes washing windows ect. easier is definitely a plus.
checked out her website…looks amazing!
mom and janie just brought mine out and we cleaned coffee from the carpet, paint from the mirror, polished my appliances, and next is my 15 pane door.
i visited devona’s site
I love cleaning my floor with these rags!
I visited the website!

Okay, so I must have been under a rock too.
I’ve heard of micro-fiber, but nothing about these. Makes cleaning fun, you say? Goodness, WHERE WAS I the past month that I’ve been *roaring* around my little cottage?? I should have had them with the Mrs. Meyers cleaning supplies that I splurged on, to make my housecleaning more fun. I thought if I’d overdue and pregnant and cleaning every square inch of my house, I’m at least going to enjoy the scent that I’m working with.
And I sure did too. Worth every last penny of that high-priced stuff. And from what you say, these rags are along those same lines? Well, if I don’t win, I just may need to purchase some. For next nesting. Since I just finished THE last drawer and closet today, and cleaning is over for a very long time.
xoxo
Never used one of these rags, but they sound amazing!
i also ‘liked’ your fb post AND visited the Norwex website. =)
I too was not going to spend a lot of money for a cleaning rag because what I used worked just fine!!But I went to a party, bought one, after all I didn’t want to be the only one that doesn’t have one and like it better every time I use it!!!
Checked out Onys web site.
I have the wash cloths and love them, but would love to have some to wash my windows with!
Visited the website!
Norwex is awesome! And all it takes is H20…totally enviro-friendly. I like my kitchen cloths, they wipe counters & tables & highchair trays & suck up all the yucky germs.
I’ve heard of norwex rags but never used one. Would love a set to try!
ah yes. thanks for the reminder to enter! can’t pass up an oppurtunity to win some of these. LOVE them so much!!!
LOVE these products!! I now have so much of there stuff i could be a consultant, but the enviro and polish rag are my favorite, right next to the net dish cloth ( its the cheepest thing they have but i wont ever go without it) def. worth the $$.
Oh, yes please!! I’m totally sold on Norwex, but we don’t have a rep very close to us! It’s pretty much all i use for my bathrooms and for dusting – so NICE to not have the chemical smell leftover after cleaning! I hope you accept entries from Canada?
I have never used any Norwex rags but I would love to try them!
I visited Ony’s website.
I have never used Norwex but would love to try it. I am always looking for asthma friendly cleaning products. And as for the delayed giveaway….I have one little boy at my house for ten hours each day and I feel like I get very little accomplished at times! 24/7 mothers with several young little’s are in my mind Amazing! (and how I hope to join the crowd of multiple little’s very soon!)
Liked fb page
I’d love another set of these rags. Mine get used so hard- so instead of having to purchase another set, maybe I’ll win these!
I liked on facebook!
Visited Ony’s facebook.
Shelley – I really enjoyed looking around your blog tonight!
I will need to re-visit to look at the recipes some more. I love new recipes!
I’d love to win a set to try them out.
On to business… I have never heard of Norwex, so I guess I fall in the living under a rock category!
p.s. Just visited her website as well.
I’ve heard of them often but never used a Norwex rag, or even been to a party. The line you used that caught me was about the wads of paper towels laying around when cleaning windows…I hate that and if I could eliminate that I would be happy. I would LOVE to win these!
Oh, and yes, I did all the right “requirements” for the drawing. LOL.
wow shelly!!!
100 comments!! love your blog & love norwex!!!
& love ony too;))
I do hope I get a Norwex rag for mothers day. Shelly, the mail did not yet bring anything. curious when and what it will be!
